Who's Expecting?

Attention les Curieux! This a special announcement to inform you that a mystery couple among you will be parents next spring! The identity of the mother and father will be revealed on Tuesday October 3rd. In the meantime, can you guess who it is? Unfortunately there are no prizes offered for the correct answer, but we had a feeling that wouldn't deter you from participating in the "guess the mommy" contest. Post your guesses in the comments below ... and no, don't start calling or emailing all the ladies in our group and asking them ... that's cheating!

My first guess would be that Paul somehow found a way to become the world's first pregnant man, but I think I'll go with Claudia. Her and Joseph just became an Auntie and Uncle this summer and maybe they love it so much they wanted a baby of their own.

Hmm...well Tyler's right! Paul is the most likely candidate. I don't think I can guess, though, since I know at least three couples who have mentioned they're "thinking about" having children. I wonder who it is ...

It seemes to me that if a female friend is really, really excited about finding out who this is...then it is probably not her. So look for someone playing it really cool. At least that is my strategy.

My first guess was Kori and Jonathan but then they're not really "among us"...or are they? Karen did leave a somewhat vague message- could be hiding something...but wait: is that baby drinking PC cola?

how many times are we allowed to guess? My second post doesn't count coz it was for Joseph.
It doesn't say "a mystery couple among you will be NEW parents next spring"... maybe they already are parents and are expecting, say, a second child?

According to my theory...(see my above comment)...there are several possible candidates who are laying pretty low. Edith, for example, however, she told me the other week that they don't have internet access yet, so they probably don't even know about our little game...or do they really. Sofi hasn't made any comment either. Andrea hasn't made any comments but Julien has been trying to fake us all out with his multiple comments. Sarah made one simple little guess as if to throw us a fake, notice she couldn't get real excited about it, or it would give it away. If it IS Claudia, she's faking us all out the most, because she wanting to play this game every month. Karen has given us a good scientific reason that it is not her. Let's see...it could be someone a bit older...it is time for Ron and Janice to have a couple of more kids just to keep consistent with their family planning. I guess we'll all have to wait a few more hours.

Oh, I must include Chriszine in on this so that you don't think I'm giving you some fake freudian exclusion. She's another female friend who hasn't made any guesses in the little game. I've heard she's been very occupied lately...but I'm not sure if it is school or morning sickness and painting the nursery.

This game is getting tricky! Is someone trying to fake us out? Is it someone you wouldn't expect? Is it someone single who had an immaculate conception? And in this day and age of modern science and political correctness, who says it's even a woman who's pregnant?

That's not even funny Karen! I think David is having way too much fun with this, so my guess is either Kori or Sofi. You'll also notice Sanan hasn't said a word - I think she might blow the grandma cover if she did! Although, that dark horse Crizine really hasn't been around much and Dave seems to be covering for her pretty well! Can't wait to see!\janice

J'ai débattu ce grand mystère avec Tyler toute la journée hier via courriel. En passant, ce n'est pas moi. Here are My top guesses:
Andrea and Julien
Dave and Criszine

My initial answer was, "o, I just knew that Dave and Sanan were planning for another one"
But maybe four is enough for them...and after all, Dave was pretty serious when he said that paying for a kid's college education was no fun at all.
